Finally, Nessa the librarian is starting up a reading hour at the bunker on Thursdays from 2-3pm when our many cabinets of books will be open for browsing and your entertainment.

Hello members and passer-byers of the internet,

Harry Potter Table Quiz

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

We are hosting an exquisite table quiz on Fresher’s Week Tuesday, September 22, for fans of Harry Potter.

The venue will be J.W. Sweetman (just off O’Connell Bridge South).

This may be your first week at Trinity, but why not be with the brave of Gryffindor, and take the perilous social march down to the venue for 8pm, where you’ll be met by equally socially shipwrecked first years on their first voyages into college life? Or perhaps let your Harry Potter knowledge take your clever Ravenclaw head to the quiz; release your inner nerd and show a load of strangers that you know your Sectumsempra from your Stupefy.

We can’t promise butter beer, but we there’ll definitely be banter, beer and bragging rights for those who come out victorious.

For further details, attend the Facebook event, and ‘like’ our Facebook page, if you wish. Until we see you, here are a few words: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!”
